Dr Matt Wardley is our psychologist currently working on the border of Bournemouth and Christchurch. He is a fully qualified and experienced Counselling Psychologist, with a particular interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In addition to ACT, Dr Wardley is also proficient in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He has experience of helping people with a number of issues and is open to seeing people with any difficulty with which they feel they need some additional help.
The clinic room is within the first floor therapy suite of 181 Barrack Road, which is on the junction of Barrack Road and Jumpers Road (above the Bridal shop). Address is as follows: First Floor, 181C Barrack Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 2AR
There is parking in the car park behind the Bridal shop on Jumpers Road in spaces allocated for Therapeutic Counselling. There is also unrestricted parking by the cemetary just a little further on down Jumpers Road. The entrance is on Barrack Road to the left of the Bridal shop, next to the Home Lighting Store (with the red and white sign). There are signs for Agincare outside and you will see a sign on the wall to the left of this door for Therapeutic Counselling.
When you enter the building and go up the stairs you will see a corridor on the left, at the end of this corridor is the door to Therapeutic Counselling. Please ring the bell or just come in and take a seat in the waiting area, which is through the archway on the left, the big room with the bay windows. The consulting room is Therapeutic Counselling – Room 2, situated to the right as you walk in, Matt will come out and meet you at your appointment time.
