Rownhams House is beautiful and tranquil, with our clinic space overlooking the coach house, grounds, woodland and lake. Rownhams, Southampton is also conveniently located with good access from the M27 and M3 motorways meaning journeys from London and the South are easy. Rownhams House is set back from the road, down a beautiful driveway through the trees.

All of our Psychologists are fully trained and registered with further training in their specialist therapies.  We recognise how difficult it can be to make the decision to ask for help so we try to make it as easy as possible for you and to support you along the way. We are friendly and approachable and work collaboratively with you to meet your individual goals.

We currently have 6 psychologists practicing at our Rownhams House location offering appointments for adults and children; including some evening and Saturday appointments. In addition to our general practice (please see the wide range of issues we routinely deal with on our homepage) they are able to offer some of our specialist services including; the Child and Adolescent service, the Trauma/PTSD clinic and our Autism Spectrum disorder assessment and support service for children.

In terms of specialist therapies we have practitioners who can offer DBT informed therapy and IPT, a specialist therapy developed for depression, our core therapies of CBT, mindfulness based therapy, Schema therapy and ACT.

Whilst all of our Psychologists are trained to offer general counselling as a given, we also have a specialist counsellor/psychotherapist who is able to help with a wide range of issues, particularly issues with bereavement or life limiting illnesses, using a contemporary psychotherapy approach.
