Clinical Experience

I have practiced in the mental Health field for over 25 years. I have a passion for the CBT approach because I have seen it help people of all ages make significant change and be able to live happier and more fulfilled lives as a consequence.

Earlier in my career I worked for a Community Alcohol Team delivering CBT in groups and on a one to one basis. Since then I have spent several years providing specialist assessment and therapy programmes to children and families within an NHS CAMHS team and more recently proving CBT to adults and young people in an NHS Psychological Therapies Service.

I have extensive experience and expertise working with children, young people and adults with a range of difficulties including:

  • Generalised anxiety Disorder
  • Depression
  • Addiction
  • Anxiety in high functioning autism
  • PTSD
  • Social Anxiety
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Panic Disorder with or without agoraphobia
  • Health Anxiety
  • Low self-esteem
  • Perfectionism
