Couples & Psychosexual

Relationship Psychotherapist and Counsellor

In these fast-paced days, I can offer you my time, attention, and genuine interest in your situation; working together with you to find different perspectives and a hopeful way forward.

Mostly I work with couples, families and individuals who are looking for improvements in their relationships.  These relationships can include people struggling with their close or intimate relationships with loved ones as well as difficult work environments.  My training also enables me to work with people’s sexual relationships and communication around this more sensitive subject.

I began my training in 1991 with Relate the National Counselling Charity beginning with Couples counselling and progressed from there.  I continue my connection with Relate and offer clinical supervision to colleagues across a range of disciplines, couple’s counselling, family counselling, young people’s counselling and psychosexual therapy.

In my own practice I primarily offer psychosexual therapy and couple’s counselling in the three counties area of South West Surrey, North Sussex and North East Hampshire also due to the COVID-19 situation many clients have transitioned to online working which is providing to be a flexible and positive way of working which I think many of us did not expect.

For anyone who might be looking for clinical supervision my primary models are psychodynamic, systemic and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) however over almost thirty years of practice I am familiar with many modalities.
